“ Best fish and chips I've had in years. The clam chowder was mild and delicious (I don't like it when it's really fishy tasting). I went with a large group, and despite all the orders coming in at once, the food came out quickly. Our server was a pro and answered all of our questions and made our visit very smooth. I would absolutely recommend to anyone driving through Astoria -- especially if the weather isn't amazing. ”

“ I had originally wanted the Mexican restaurant that was nearby, but somehow ended up in the parking lot for Mo's - it was cold and rainy and what else is more perfect on a day like that than fish and chips? Inside, I discovered something I was unaware of that I needed in my life - a banana slug plush! I was seated rather promptly with a great view of the water! The waiter I had was attentive, and prompt. Not a long wait at all. There was a lovely couple seated at the table next to me and I had a lovely chat with them. I had the fish and chips and they were so delicious! I'd highly reccomend Mo's! ”

“ I know it's a chain and touristy, but the recent reviews for chowder were all great so we decided have lunch here. We had the chowder with shrimp bread bowl and a child's portion of halibut and fries. That left room for the Marion berry cobbler. Our server was Jennifer and she was great. She never said no to anything I asked for including let me order from the kid's menu. Everything was delicious and I definitely recommend saving room for the cobbler dessert. ”
“ Fun place with happy servers. This has a true coastal vibe and we sat at the window viewing the ocean. We weren't hungry but had to give MO's a try since we were in town. I had an oyster shooter and hubby had a cup of clam chowder. Gotta say one of the best clam chowders we've tasted! Creamy with lots of potatoes and clams. Seasoned so wonderfully and a beautiful drizzle of butter. Yummo - Stop by and try it! ”
“ Finally visited our local Mo's - took my adult family here. We really enjoyed our meal here. The halibut fish and chips is hard to beat. My son got the platter. He liked it, but fried clams, I dunno, seems like its always half clams, half pieces of fried batter. The fries are great here! I'm not a fan of the chowder, for me its too thick/chalky with too many potatoes. But my mom LOVED it. Fortunately I was able to opt for a salad instead of chowder, and my salad was super-fresh, tasty and the blue cheese dressing was good. You have options! We had a window table and were able to watch the fascinating array of shipping traffic go by. Our server was fantastic. Prices were about what you might expect in a 'touristy' restaurant (i.e. up there) with great views. Lots of Mos gift items available. Interesting historical stuff in the entry way (like a menu from the 50's) If you're visiting, certainly worth a stop from some fish and chips and the lovely view. ”
